4th of July, 2011

 Two days ago was 4th of July.  I didn't post it on July 4th because I was so busy.  We went to my neighbors 4th of July party.  We lit sparklers and then we went to the Oak Park fireworks.  The fireworks were really cool.  The grand finale was pretty amazing.  Our friends gave out glow sticks that were red, white and blue, and we got one of each color.

Gymnastics Camp

I went to gymnastics camp at Lake Owen Camp in Cable, Wisconsin.  I was there for six days.  I went with my gymnastics friends from Tristar Gym.  I went bungee jumping and I went to the lake front.  I made presents for my family.  I learned a lot of skills while I was there: I got my back walkover on the beam and I also did a fly away into the pit.  And a round off, back handspring, back tuck.  It was fun to learn to do those things.  I had so much fun at camp!

Bunnies & Gymnastics

I love Bunnies!  They are so cute.  This is not my bunny; I don't have any bunnies.  I wish I did.

Yesterday I had a special practice for the level 5 state girls' GIJO gym meet.  That was my last practice until the meet on Sunday.  Tomorrow (Sat) we have a gym show.  Wednesday, we practiced for the gym show for all of practice.  I can now do my kips.  I did 3 routines without failing on my kips.  I'm excited!!! I think I will make my kips on Sunday.  Only 7 girls out of my whole team are going to state because only 7 girls have their kips.  I am one of them!

My Gerbils

This is Hermes. She is very cute.  I have 3 Gerbils, their names are Buttercup, Hermes and Pajamas. I think they're all very cute.  I tried to find a photo of all 3 but I couldn't.

They like to chew and they chewed on the plastic cage parts.  Pajamas has escaped twice, once with Buttercup.  But we found them both times.   Thank god.  Hermes has not escaped so far.

Gerbils let go of their tails if you pull them.  Once Buttercup's tail got caught on the petting zone door, but it didn't fall off.  I think she knew it was going to be o.k.

They like to dig a lot and some of the bedding falls out of the cage and we have to clean it up.  Its a little annoying.

The last 10 days and today

I’m so sorry for not posting a post for 10 days.  I’m going to tell you what I got on each event of my gym meet:

I got a watch for my birthday and this sticker making kit.  And notebooks and pens, and clothes and a Monster High Doll named Frankie Stein.  I got 3 kits, one for wool felt, one for physics and one electrical.  My grandma brought apple sized strawberries.

On my birthday it was warm and I had my usual Monday, clay, horses, gymnastics.

Today was really warm too, it got up to 70-something.  I played outside.

My birthday party sleepover spa is on the 14th.  That is in 5 days.

Yesterday was Mother's Day.  I gave my mom a picture frame.  She loved it.  I also made her this really pretty card.

My 10th Birthday is in 3 days!!!

My 10th Birthday is in 3 days!!!  What!  Today I counted 246 Red Cars.  I went to the dentist today.  I Look up Baby Gerbils and I found this.  They Are so cute!   

I have a gym meet on Sunday.  I'm a little nervous.  I like to get good scores.  The last gym meet I got a 9.2 on floor.  I'm in level 5.  I can make my kips 2/3 of the time.  I have practice tomorrow.  Its my last practice before the meet.  Check back on Monday to see how I did (that's my birthday!).

My 10th Birthday is in 4 days!!!

My 10th Birthday is in 4 days!!! I am going to the Field Museum today, and I am going the Horse Exhibit. My sister, Selene Loves Horses!!! Horses, Horses, Horses!!! I Love Horse too, but not as much as Selene.  Selene is crazy about horses.  I'm crazy about eating salmon.  Its so good, but Selene and Athena (my sisters) hate salmon.  Which means more for me.

OMG, My 10th Birthday is in 5 days!!! Today I Gymnastics, it was fun.  

Gymnastics

I had Gymnastics for 3 hours, I'm so tired. I go to Tri-Star Gymnastics.

Sinclair

I'm going to tell you about Sinclair (my babysitter).
She has very curly hair, with a blue streak in the back.
Her favorite food is noodles and her favorite animal is Turtles!
She likes butterflies too.

She always makes Selene (my sister) toast with butter and sometimes honey.

A little Performance

My me and Sister are doing a little Performance.   We showed my babysitter Sinclair and she really enjoyed it. Bye.....

Today I did

02\03\11...  Today Stevie and Journey (my friends) came over today and we had so much fun.  Also, I had piano and that was fun, too.  It was so cold, so all of my classes were cancelled.  

It snowed!

02\02\11. It snowed 20 in. and it should snow 3-8 in. more. My dad shoveled the sidewalk and there's a huge hill and its up to my waist. Someone's wearing snow shoes walking in the street. Up in my bedroom, there's a window and the snow is piled up about 2 feet. I went sledding today and there was almost no snow on the top of the hill!

Snow Day!

It should snow about 3 feet.  I hope it snows 10 feet. All of my classes have been cancelled today and tomorrow because of the snow.  We might go sledding tomorrow.  Tomorrow I'll add a photo of the snow.

Also, today I went to glee club class.  It was so much fun.  I wanted to go to ballet today but it was cancelled, and gymnastics is cancelled for tomorrow.
